Daarbij werd het belang van het strikt opvolgen van veiligheidsmaatregelen benadrukt, niet alleen voor de bescherming van het personeel en het soepel laten verlopen van operationele processen, maar ook vanwege de potenti\u00eble directe impact op het milieu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De HSEC-dag draaide dit keer om het thema: \u2018Process Safety: Think Ahead, Stay Ahead\u2019. \u201cHoe zorgen we ervoor dat onze installaties veilig blijven draaien?\u201d \u201cHoe beschermen we elkaar en onze omgeving?&#8221; &#8220;Wat kunnen wij zelf doen?\u201d.\u00a0 Met de interactieve presentaties en een mini-expo kregen de medewerkers concrete voorbeelden van werksituaties en mogelijke risico\u2019s die zij kunnen tegenkomen tijdens hun dagelijkse werkzaamheden. Ook konden zij hun kennis testen via een leuke interactieve quiz.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De HSEC-dagen worden minimaal driemaal per jaar gehouden. De eerstvolgende HSEC-dag gaat verder in op het thema &#8216;Process Safety\u2019, met name het voorkomen van olielekkages en wat de oliemaatschappij \u201cin plaats&#8221; heeft als het onverhoopt toch mis mocht gaan. Hiervoor is een \u201cEmergency Response\u201d plan van essentieel belang.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De lessen uit de HSEC-dagen worden gebruikt als input om onder andere de HSE-procedures, -richtlijnen en het trainingsmateriaal van Staatsolie te evalueren en bij te stellen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Naar aanleiding van eerdere HSEC-dagen zijn er binnen het bedrijf verschillende concrete veiligheidsmaatregelen en initiatieven ge\u00efmplementeerd. Zo wordt er tijdens Job Safety Observations actief nagegaan of werkzaamheden volgens geldende richtlijnen en procedures worden uitgevoerd. Daarnaast is er extra aandacht besteed aan het verbeteren van incidentbeheer en rapportageprocessen.
