Meer dan 50 professionals uit alle hoeken van de wereld kwamen samen voor een intensief programma over eerlijk arbeidsmigratiebeleid, sociale bescherming en inclusieve arbeidsmarkten. VSB directeur Kamlesh Ganesh nam deel aan deze prestigieuze bijeenkomst, waarmee Suriname ook op het internationale migratiebeleid podium vertegenwoordigd was.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Interactieve beleidsontwikkeling in fictieve scenario\u2019s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De Academy startte met een innovatieve benadering: deelnemers werden onderverdeeld in interdisciplinaire teams die een migratiebeleid moesten ontwikkelen voor een fictief land. In deze rollen vertegenwoordigen deelnemers belanghebbenden zoals overheden, werkgevers, vakbonden en ngo\u2019s. Deze werkvorm zorgde voor realistische en dynamische discussies over migratie governance. De diversiteit van deelnemers \u2013 afkomstig uit onder andere India, Egypte, Kenia, Sri Lanka, Frankrijk, Zweden, Turkije, Trinidad, Suriname, Jamaica en Marokko \u2013 versterkte het leerproces en leverde rijke perspectieven op.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Sociale bescherming en eerlijke werving<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De tweede dag stond in het teken van <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sociale bescherming<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ethische arbeidsbemiddeling<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Ervaringen uit Oekra\u00efne, Zwitserland, de Filipijnen en Latijns-Amerika illustreerden hoe sociaal beleid inclusiever kan worden gemaakt voor migranten. In de middag werd gefocust op regulering van publieke en private arbeidsbemiddelingsbureaus. Japan deelde ervaringen uit haar ILO\u2013JICA-project rond ethische werving, terwijl Kenia hervormingen presenteerde in lijn met ILO-conventie 181. Conclusie: multilaterale samenwerking en transparantie in wervingssystemen zijn cruciaal voor het beschermen van arbeidsmigranten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Digitale ethiek en mensenrechten<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Op de derde dag lag de nadruk op de rol van technologie in migratiebeleid. In een creatieve simulatie ontwikkelden deelnemers AI-gebaseerde humanitaire campagnes, wat leidde tot kritische reflectie over de ethiek van digitale storytelling in migratiecontexten. Tegelijkertijd werd opnieuw onderstreept dat migratie niet \u201cgestopt\u201d kan worden zonder fundamentele mensenrechten te schenden. Artikel 13 van de Universele Verklaring van de Rechten van de Mens garandeert immers het recht om een land te verlaten. De discussies bevestigden het belang van rechten-gebaseerde benaderingen in elk migratiebeleid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Werkbezoeken: Italiaanse modellen voor arbeidsintegratie<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De slotdag bestond uit veldbezoeken aan vijf Italiaanse initiatieven die inzetten op inclusieve arbeidsmarktintegratie:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>PureMicro<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: verstrekt microkredieten aan migranten die buiten het traditionele banksysteem vallen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>EnAIP Piemonte<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: biedt vraaggestuurde vakopleidingen die direct aansluiten op regionale arbeidsbehoeften.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>CODIASCO<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: een netwerk van 19 NGO\u2019s die lokaal draagvlak en dienstverlening aan migranten co\u00f6rdineren.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Interregionaal Antimensenhandelproject Piemonte<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: bestrijdt arbeidsuitbuiting via samenwerking tussen overheid, vakbonden en maatschappelijke organisaties.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Bee My Job<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: een sociale co\u00f6peratie die migranten opleidt in bijenteelt en landbouw, met aandacht voor kinderopvang en waardig werk.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deze voorbeelden benadrukken de noodzaak van mensgerichte en lokaal ingebedde oplossingen voor inclusieve arbeidsmarkten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Internationale samenwerking als sleutel tot duurzame migratiebeleid<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De deelname van de VSB aan deze Academy onderstreept het belang dat het Surinaamse bedrijfsleven hecht aan eerlijke, transparante en menswaardige arbeidsmigratie. Directeur Kamlesh Ganesh gaf aan: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cDe inzichten die hier gedeeld worden, zijn direct toepasbaar voor het vormgeven van een evenwichtig arbeidsmigratiebeleid in Suriname. Het bedrijfsleven heeft daarin een verantwoordelijkheid \u00e9n een kans om het verschil te maken.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De ITCILO Labour Migration Academy fungeert als motor voor mondiale beleidsvernieuwing. Suriname was er dit jaar bij \u2013 en kijkt vooruit naar het vertalen van deze kennis naar lokale actie.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div
