Onlangs heeft zij haar hoogfrequente personeelstransport, met hoge CO2-uitstoot, vervangen met transport op basis van zonne-energie. Het is een elektrische shuttle bus voor 15 personen met een solar charging systeem. In opzet is het de eerste in zijn soort in Suriname. Er zijn wel vergelijkbare voertuigen die in de Horeca gebruikt worden zoals bij de golf club en enkele casino\u2019s. Die zijn op zich wat kleiner en niet solar. Op het Jules Sydney havencomplex is het wel de eerste en enige die wordt ingezet door VSH Transport. Dit voertuig wordt ingezet voor het transporteren van VSH Transport personeel en klanten die VSH Transport-terminal bezoeken op de Jules Sydney haven.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBinnen onze bedrijfsvoering als Terminal operator op de Jules Sydney haven zijn wij continu bezig onze operations te monitoren en evalueren. Wij kijken naar hoe wij kunnen optimaliseren in veiligheid en efficiency op elk aspect. In dit geval hebben bij besloten deze stap te doen uit overweging van veiligheid en effici\u00ebntie om personenverkeer op de VSH Terminal veiliger en effici\u00ebnter uit te voeren.
