Een belangrijk thema in deze tijd en in deze ontwikkelingsfase van ons land.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wat heeft dat met het oplossen van conflicten te maken zult u zich misschien afvragen. \u2018Een heleboel\u2019 is mijn antwoord. In een harmonieuze organisatie is de productie namelijk hoger en werken mensen met plezier.\u00a0 Heeft u zich als werkgever weleens afgevraagd wat een conflict op de werkvloer u kost aan verloren omzet of productie? Wat als belangrijke schakels binnen uw organisatie niet meer met elkaar praten of elkaar het optimaal presteren onmogelijk maken?\u00a0 Of wanneer projectteams ruzi\u00ebnd elkaar het leven zuur maken of zakenpartners van mening verschillen zodanig dat samenwerken niet meer mogelijk lijkt? Of wat het betekent voor de organisatie wanneer een ervaren medewerker als gevolg van een conflict, gefrustreerd de organisatie verlaat?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conflicten kunnen gebeuren en horen bij het leven zolang wij ons er ook van bewust zijn dat ze oplost moeten worden. En daar wringt de schoen, want wie moet dat dan oplossen? Stilletjes hoopt u misschien dat als u er vooral geen aandacht aan besteedt, het vanzelf opgelost wordt want het zijn toch professionals!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ja, het zijn professionals en ook gewoon mensen die u over het algemeen niet kwijt wilt want ze dragen elk op hun eigen wijze bij aan de continu\u00efteit van de organisatie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een effectief, relatief snel en betaalbaar instrument is Mediation. Kenmerkend aan dit instrument is de vertrouwelijkheid, wat betekent dat die hele \u2018in bere\u2019 van bijvoorbeeld die medewerkers onderling of van die zakenpartners binnenkamers blijft. En je hoeft niet naar de rechter, en dus ook naar buiten, om het probleem te laten oplossen zo die rechter kan. Een rechter kan namelijk alleen een juridisch probleem oplossen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mediation is dus een tool voor buitengerechtelijke geschillenoplossing die een aantal belangrijke kenmerken heeft. Mediation is op basis van vrijwilligheid (partijen moeten een oplossing willen) en het is zoals eerder genoemd, een strikt vertrouwelijk traject (deze vertrouwelijkheid geldt uitdrukkelijk ook voor de mediator). Daarnaast werken partijen onder begeleiding van een neutrale, onafhankelijke mediator zelf aan een oplossing die voor beide partijen werkbaar is. Win-win dus!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wilt u meer informatie over mediation dan kunt u dit vinden op de website www.mediationsuriname.org of u maakt contact met ondergetekende of een van de andere mediators aangesloten bij de Mediationgroep Suriname die onderdeel is van de Stichting Mediation Professionals Suriname. Dit kan een afspraak zijn voor een persoonlijk gesprek of voor een presentatie over de ins en outs van mediation voor directie, HR en\/of management binnen uw organisatie.
