Dit beleidsdocument is tot stand gekomen door de inspanningen van de commissie voor de vaststelling van een langdurig arbeidsmarktbeleid, met technische assistentie van de International Labour Organization (ILO). Om ervoor te zorgen dat de activiteiten in dit beleidsdocument effectief en effici\u00ebnt worden uitgevoerd, is besloten om een Monitoring Commissie in te stellen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het Ministerie van Arbeid, Werkgelegenheid en Jeugdzaken is gemachtigd om het arbeidsbeleid te ontwikkelen en uit te voeren. De Monitoring Commissie &#8220;Suriname Mid-Term Labour Market Policy 2022-2025&#8221; zal verantwoordelijk zijn voor het begeleiden, co\u00f6rdineren en monitoren van de organisaties en ministeries die belast zijn met de uitvoering van de activiteiten zoals uiteengezet in het beleidsdocument.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De Monitoring Commissie heeft als doel ervoor te zorgen dat de activiteiten in de activiteitenmatrix effectief en effici\u00ebnt worden ge\u00efmplementeerd. Indien nodig zal de commissie voorstellen doen om de implementatie te verbeteren. Ze zal ook een plan van aanpak en een activiteitenprogramma opstellen om haar taken uit te voeren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het besluit tot het instellen van de Monitoring Commissie &#8220;Suriname Mid-Term Labour Market Policy 2022-2025&#8221; is genomen op basis van de missives van de Raad van Ministers. De commissie zal functioneren van 1 januari 2023 tot 31 december 2024, gedurende een periode van twee jaar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dit tussentijdse arbeidsmarktbeleid is tot stand gekomen als onderdeel van het Suriname Decent Work Country Programme 2019-2022, waarin actief arbeidsmarktbeleid als een prioriteitsgebied werd ge\u00efdentificeerd. Het beleidsontwikkelingsproces vond plaats tussen oktober 2021 en juli 2022 en was het resultaat van een inclusieve dialoog tussen belanghebbenden, waaronder de regering, werkgevers, werknemers en academici. De tripartite Commissie voor de vaststelling van een langdurig arbeidsmarktbeleid (CLTLMP) speelde hierbij een belangrijke rol.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De CLTLMP heeft samengewerkt met de International Labour Organization om dit beleidsdocument op te stellen. Minister Steven Mac Andrew heeft na de presentatie van het document de tripartite partijen verzekerd dat de voorgestelde activiteiten serieus zullen worden uitgevoerd.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De commissie staat onder leiding van de onderdirecteur Arbeidsmarkt, Naomi Esajas-Friperson. De overig leden zijn: Susabbe Edwards-Verveer (OWC), Amit Chandansingh (EZOTI), Christine Lie Ten (SoZaVo), Henk van Dams (Planbrureau), Kamlesh Ganesh (VSB), Jo ann Keenswijk-Fung A Loi (ABS) en Tesora Ooft (IGSR). Maureen Samuels (AWJ) is toegevoegd als secretaris.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column
