The<\/span> Caribbean Climate Investment Program (CCIP)<\/span><\/a> recently hosted a series of roadshow events in Suriname (virtually), Trinidad & Tobago, and Barbados to convene stakeholders on topics related to the clean energy transition and raise awareness about our current and planned activities. For those of you who joined one of our roadshow events, we thank you for your time and interest in CCIP!<\/span><\/p>\n

Program Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n

CCIP is a $20 million activity under USAID\u2019s<\/span> Climate Finance for Development Accelerator (CFDA)<\/span><\/a>. Although private capital is increasingly directed at the energy transition in emerging markets, it is not yet at the speed and scale needed to address the global climate crisis. In response, CCIP is seeking to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) technologies as well as climate adaptation solutions across 11 Caribbean countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

The presentations delivered by CCIP Team Lead, Federico Fische, and Program Director, Alex Kramer, during the Caribbean Climate Investment Program \u2013 Energy and Climate Financing for the Eastern Caribbean roadshow event held on September 13 in Bridgetown, Barbados can be accessed<\/span> HERE<\/span><\/a>. Please note that the information provided therein is not specific to a particular country\u2014it is relevant to all countries within CCIP\u2019s geographic reach. Office Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

We were thrilled to meet many of you in person while we were Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados. If you were unable to connect with us and\/or have further questions about how to engage with CCIP, we welcome you to<\/span> register for our virtual office hours<\/span><\/a>. Starting Tuesday, September 26, and through Monday, October 30, we will make ourselves available on a weekly basis to meet with individuals\/organizations to discuss anything you may wish to know about CCIP and the types of services we offer. Meetings will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis! Kindly note that we do not plan to hold office hours the week of October 23 at this time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Climate Finance Investment Network (CFIN)<\/strong><\/p>\n

CFDA will share full and open solicitations, amendments, answers to questions, and other updates to contacts that are registered in the Climate Finance Investment Network (CFIN). To ensure your team does not miss any opportunities for engagement\u2014including with respect to CCIP\u2019s grant program and project preparation facility\u2014we encourage you to register your organization using the <\/span>CFIN partnership intake form<\/span><\/a>. There is no cost to join the CFIN and membership does not involve any commitment or obligation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
