We hebben <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vsbstia.org\/?p=8630\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">een brief gestuurd naar President Chandrikapersad Santokhi<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> om onze bezorgdheid kenbaar te maken, en we kijken nog steeds uit naar een reactie van de president.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daarnaast hebben wij de kwestie besproken in het Arbeid Adviescollege met onze sociale partners. We geloven dat dit een belangrijke stap is om een breder begrip en consensus te bereiken over de gevolgen van deze besluiten en om te werken aan mogelijke oplossingen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Onze centrale zorg blijft de beslissing met betrekking tot de Terugwerkende Kracht (TWK) van de premieverhoging en de financi\u00eble gevolgen daarvan voor zowel werknemers als werkgevers. We benadrukken opnieuw het belang van open en inclusief overleg bij het nemen van beslissingen met aanzienlijke gevolgen voor alle belanghebbenden. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De TWK-inhoudingen zijn ook niet verenigbaar met de wet (artikel 7 lid 9, Wet Algemeen Pensioen 2014).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het bedrijfsleven erkent dat er aanpassingen nodig kunnen zijn, maar we blijven ons verzetten tegen ondoordachte, adhoc maatregelen die sociale onrust kunnen veroorzaken. We roepen de regering op om het genomen besluit te heroverwegen na overleg met vertegenwoordigers van het bedrijfsleven en sociale partners en om de noodzakelijke aanpassingen op een redelijke termijn in te voeren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bovendien benadrukken we de noodzaak van een algehele herziening van de Pensioenwet van 2014, met input van sociale partners en het bedrijfsleven, om de complexiteit en onduidelijkheden in de wet aan te pakken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Verantwoord bestuur en een inclusief besluitvormingsproces zijn essentieel om een evenwichtige oplossing te vinden die recht doet aan alle belanghebbenden en de toekomstige sociale zekerheid van Suriname veilig stelt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We blijven ons inzetten voor deze zaak en houden u op de hoogte van verdere ontwikkelingen. Uw steun en betrokkenheid zijn van onschatbare waarde in dit proces.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-social-links\"><div class=\"fusion-social-networks boxed-icons\"><div
