Deze commissie is belast met het evalueren van de werking van dit besluit om vervolgens deze aan te passen naar de nieuwe mondiale ontwikkelingen en ontwikkelingen in de samenleving.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het BGA, dat in 2010 werd ge\u00efntroduceerd, heeft tot doel gevaarlijke arbeidsomstandigheden voor jeugdige werknemers te reguleren en te minimaliseren. Echter, na interne feedback, heeft de VSB enkele belangrijke aandachtspunten ge\u00efdentificeerd.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een van de belangrijkste punten die door de VSB naar voren is gebracht, betreft de kwestie van gevaarlijk werk voor alle werknemers, ongeacht hun leeftijd. De feedback benadrukt dat gevaarlijk werk risico&#8217;s met zich meebrengt voor de gezondheid en veiligheid van alle werknemers, en niet uitsluitend voor jeugdige werknemers. De VSB pleit voor een bredere benadering van arbeidsveiligheid, die alle werknemers beschermt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een ander belangrijk aandachtspunt betreft de categorisering van gevaarlijke arbeid zoals vastgelegd in het BGA. Momenteel worden gevaarlijke arbeidsomstandigheden gecategoriseerd op basis van de aard van het werk en werkomstandigheden. De VSB suggereert dat de focus moet verschuiven naar een risicogerichte benadering, waarbij de nadruk ligt op het identificeren en beheren van risico&#8217;s voor de gezondheid en veiligheid van werknemers, ongeacht hun leeftijd.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een andere zorg betreft verouderde verwijzingen in het BGA, met name naar de Arbeidswet van 1963. De VSB benadrukt dat het van essentieel belang is om de regelgeving bij te werken en te moderniseren om deze in lijn te brengen met de huidige mondiale normen en maatschappelijke veranderingen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tot slot pleit de VSB voor een nieuw arbobeleid dat rekening houdt met leeftijdsspecifieke arbeidsomstandigheden, waarbij werknemers van alle leeftijden, inclusief jeugdige werknemers, ouderen, zwangere werknemers, risicogroepen en sociaal kwetsbaren, passende bescherming genieten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De VSB roept op tot een grondige herziening van het BGA om de veiligheid en gezondheid van alle werknemers te waarborgen en om de regelgeving aan te passen aan de hedendaagse eisen. Ze benadrukt het belang van een modernisering van de wetgeving, een risicogerichte benadering en inclusief beleid om te zorgen voor veilige arbeidsomstandigheden voor iedereen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De VSB hoopt dat hun feedback zal worden meegenomen bij de herziening van het BGA en dat er stappen worden ondernomen om de arbeidsomstandigheden in Suriname te
