Deze erkenning vond plaats tijdens de Internationale Arbeidsconferentie (ILC), waar vertegenwoordigers van overheden, werkgevers en werknemers bijeenkomen om nieuwe internationale arbeidsnormen te onderhandelen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De editie van 2024 van de ILC richtte zich op het nieuw leven inblazen van actie op deze fundamentele principes en rechten op het werk, als onderdeel van de voortdurende missie van de ILO om sociale rechtvaardigheid te bevorderen. Vijf kernprincipes stonden centraal in het debat: vrijheid van vereniging, vermindering van gedwongen arbeid, be\u00ebindiging van kinderarbeid, bestrijding van discriminatie op de werkplek en het bevorderen van een veilige en gezonde werkomgeving.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sleutelprincipes en Aanbevelingen<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Om de diverse en complexe uitdagingen in de arbeidswereld aan te pakken, adviseert de ILO een meer ge\u00efntegreerde en holistische benadering. Dit omvat de voortdurende nadruk op de ratificatie en implementatie van fundamentele arbeidsnormen, het opbouwen van bewijs voor ge\u00efnformeerde acties, strategische partnerschappen en allianties en duurzame financiering.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De Recurrente Discussiecommissie over Fundamentele Beginselen en Rechten op het Werk (FPRW) benadrukte de noodzaak van een beter begrip van de verschillende realiteiten en behoeften van ILO-leden, en het aanpassen van de prioriteiten en actieprogramma&#8217;s van de ILO dienovereenkomstig. Tevens werd het belang van evaluatie van ILO-activiteiten om beleids- en budgetbeslissingen te informeren, onderstreept.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Belangrijke Ontwikkelingen en Uitdagingen<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sinds de laatste terugkerende discussie in 2017 zijn er diverse nationale en internationale ontwikkelingen geweest die de naleving en promotie van fundamentele arbeidsrechten hebben be\u00efnvloed. Zo is het aantal ratificaties van fundamentele verdragen toegenomen en zijn nieuwe internationale arbeidsnormen ingevoerd, zoals het Verdrag inzake Geweld en Intimidatie (Nr. 190). Echter, uitdagingen blijven bestaan. Kinderarbeid en gedwongen arbeid zijn wereldwijd toegenomen, en jaarlijks sterven drie miljoen werknemers door arbeidsongevallen of beroepsziekten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aanpak en Prioriteiten voor Actie<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Om deze uitdagingen aan te pakken, werd tijdens de 112e ILC speciale aandacht besteed aan de volgende vragen:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Welke belangrijke ontwikkelingen hebben plaatsgevonden sinds 2017 en hoe hebben deze de FPRW be\u00efnvloed?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Welke beleidsmaatregelen en praktijken zijn ge\u00efmplementeerd om de ILO-verklaring over FPRW te respecteren en te bevorderen?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hoe kan de ILO haar acties opschalen om lidstaten te ondersteunen in het realiseren van FPRW?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Resolutie en Conclusies<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De conferentie resulteerde in een resolutie die oproept tot een plan van actie ter bevordering van FPRW. De resolutie benadrukt dat fundamentele arbeidsrechten universele mensenrechten zijn, essentieel voor menselijke waardigheid en het fundament van inclusieve en rechtvaardige samenlevingen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prioriteiten voor ILO-actie zijn onder andere het formaliseren van informele economie\u00ebn, het bevorderen van duurzame ondernemingen, het versterken van sociale dialoog en het aanpakken van ongelijkheden en discriminatie op de werkplek. Er werd ook nadruk gelegd op de noodzaak van effectieve arbeidsmarktregering en sociale dialoog als sleutelfactoren voor het realiseren van FPRW.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De ILO zal haar strategie\u00ebn bijwerken om de uitvoering van deze prioriteiten te ondersteunen, met specifieke aandacht voor onderzoek, capaciteitsopbouw en het bevorderen van ratificaties van fundamentele verdragen.
