VSB and the Suriname Trade and Investment Agency, with the support of the Caribbean Export Development Agency under the 11th European Development Fund Regional Private Sector Development Programme hosted a 2-day workshop titled “ Leveraging CARIFORUM Trade Agreements in a Post Covid Environment”. The workshop discussed the benefits and opportunities enshrined within the CARIFORUM- EU EPA as well as the CARIFORUM- UK EPA trade agreements with a specific focus on themes which enhance and encourage trade between these regions.
The session topics included an overview of the CARIFORUM-EU EPA, Understanding Rules of Origin, Standards and Requirements for target markets, Market Intelligence Tools and Data Sources and Strategic partnership.
