The SelectUSA Investment Summit is the highest-profile event in the United States dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment (FDI.) The 2022 Investment Summit will be hosted in-person at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor, Maryland, on June 26-29, 2022, with a small virtual component to accommodate those who cannot travel.
The four-day program will include sessions featuring global CEOs and high-level U.S. government speakers, as well as prescheduled one-on-one matchmaking meetings between potential investors and local U.S. economic development organizations (EDOs), state and local government officials, professional services providers, business associations, and U.S. government officials.
Running concurrently with the Investment Summit will be the SelectUSA Tech Program and the Select Global Women in Tech Program:
- SelectUSA Tech is geared towards early-stage foreign tech companies less than 10 years old, with up to $10 million in revenue, and up to 40 employees. SelectUSA Tech programming will consist of regional and industry pitching sessions, as well as content to provide startup attendees with best practices for landing in the United States, and targeted networking opportunities.
- Select Global Women in Tech (SGWIT)is geared towards international female founders, entrepreneurs, and executives in the tech sector. The program aims to promote U.S. technology leadership by attracting talented female leaders in emerging technology sectors to spur economic growth and innovation, as well as support women’s economic empowerment globally.
