Members of the Guyana-Suriname Private Sector Business Council started a dialogue with the representatives of the people in the Parliament. On Wednesday 29th of June the Council met Suriname’s Leader of the Opposition, Rabindre Parmessar to discuss the work of the Council. Our Chair, Bryan Renten, presented the vision of ghe coumcil regarding the ease of doing business among Suriname and Guyana. There will be followups to this meeting. On March 16, 2022, the Suriname Trade and Industry Association joined forces with the Private Sector Commission of Guyana to establish the Ten-Member Council.
